UPC and EAN Barcode Fonts
UPC-EAN Barcode
FAQ | Barcode Scanners
The retail industry began using the Universal Product Code (UPC)
barcode in the United States and Canada in 1973. The EAN (European
Article Numbering System) is a superset of UPC.
ISBN (International
Standard Book Number) and Bookland is an implementation of the EAN
barcode used on books and periodicals.
IDAutomation UPC EAN Barcode Fonts allow the ability to print UPC, EAN, GTIN (Global Trade Item Number),
Bookland, JAN and ISBN barcodes from systems supporting TrueType, OpenType,
PCL or PostScript fonts on any operating system including Windows, Macintosh,
Unix and Linux.
All UPC-EAN Fonts require special formatting so that the data, when the
barcode font is applied, will be scannable. Over 30
royalty free font tools,
macros and plug-ins are provided to complete this automatically.
