The
E13-B MICR font is used to print MICR encoding on bank checks
and drafts in the United States, Canada and several other countries.
The E13-B MICR font contains ten specially designed numeric characters
0 through 9, and the four special symbols, as seen in the graphic displayed
above.
IDAutomation also distributes another Magnetic Ink Character Recognition
(MICR) font called the
CMC-7 font which
is used for check printing in France, Mexico and several other countries.
An additional font that looks similar to the MICR E13-B font is the
OCR-A and OCR-B font.
This font is used to print bank checks in Germany and a few other countries.
